The acquisition of Diversity Travel, which specializes in transporting humanitarian workers into warzones and disaster zones, is imminent to be announced by Primary Capital.
A travel service that transports humanitarian workers to crisis zones is close to selling for £40 million.
Diversity Travel, which was founded in 2008, is close to being sold to the private equity firm Primary Capital.
Tuesday city sources also indicated that a deal could be finalised within weeks.
Diversity Travel, a company that works with charities and other non-profit organizations, has helped convey aid workers into Ukraine following the Russian invasion, as well as into Syria and Turkey following the February earthquake that killed thousands of people.
It has also operated in conflict zones in Afghanistan, Yemen, and other nations.
Also a travel industry executive said the imminent sale is part of a trend of corporate travel companies being sold.
TAG Group, another significant market player, recently engaged bankers from Rothschild to oversee a sale.
According to industry analysts, the flurry of transactions reflects a rebound in post-COVID international travel demand.
It is believed that Houlihan Lokey managed the sale negotiations on behalf of Diversity Travel.
