His mother has confirmed that a stuntman, best known for his roles in Black Panther and Avengers: Endgame, perished in a car accident that also claimed the lives of three of his children.

On Halloween, Taraja Ramsess, 41, and family members were reportedly involved in a catastrophic collision in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America.

Akili Ramsess, his mother, confirmed the demise of her son and two of his daughters—Sundari, 13, and Fujibo, eight weeks—in an Instagram post.

She added that his 10-year-old son Kisasi subsequently passed away while on life support.

Ms. Ramsess reported that two of the daughters of her son managed to survive the collision, and Shazia, who is three years old, is in the hospital recuperating from minor injuries.

According to local media, Ramsess was transporting his children when his truck collided with a derailed tractor and trailer on Halloween night.

Remembering Taraja Ramsess

Ms. Ramsess praised her “beautiful, loving, talented son” on Instagram.

“Taraja was extraordinary in the eyes of all who knew and encountered him,” Ms. Ramsess wrote in the post.

“He possessed an immense capacity for love and cherished his children above all else.” Everything pertaining to filmmaking, motorcycles, and martial arts captivated his attention.

“He had a wickedly witty yet sardonic sense of humour and could be as corny as possible.”
