Hamas Calls for Israel’s “Annihilation”

Hamas has allegedly published footage in the Gaza Strip depicting its fighters engaged in combat with Israeli forces.

As an apparent grenade launcher-firing Palestinian militant is spotted emerging from an underground conduit, Israel’s ground offensive, which has been ongoing for days, continues to advance deeper into the territory in an effort to “eradicate” Hamas.

The Israeli tank appears to be struck by the assault before igniting in a conflagration.

IDF Progress and Caution

Israel said its forces were approaching the “gates of Gaza City,” while a Hamas spokesman demanded Israel’s “annihilation.”

It is believed that the tank assault was documented on camera by a militant using a bodycam or headcam.

Israel reports that Hamas’ anti-tank missile unit commander was slain.

“Our location is at the entrance to Gaza City,” he informed the press.

Brigadier General Cohen further stated that “we have completely destroyed a substantial portion of Hamas’ capabilities, strategic facilities, an arsenal of explosives, underground tunnels, and other facilities” over the course of the previous five days.

However, he cautioned that much work remained and that it was a “protracted undertaking.”

The IDF reported that an airstrike on Wednesday killed Gaza’s Hamas anti-tank missile unit commander Muhammad A’sar.

According to military sources, A’sar was “responsible for all of Hamas’s anti-tank missile units throughout the Gaza Strip, commanded the units in routine times, and assisted their activity in emergencies.

Hamas threatens additional assaults.

Hamas political bureau official Ghazi Hamad earlier told Lebanese television that the “occupation of Israel must cease.” I refer to the entirety of the Palestinian territories.

When queried by the interviewer whether this signifies the total destruction of Israel, he responded affirmatively.

He declared, “We are the victims,” and swore that the organization would launch additional assaults similar to the one that occurred on October 7, when militants stormed the border with Israel and allegedly caused the “Al Aqsa Flood” that killed over 1,400 Israelis (as described by Hamas). In addition, over two hundred hostages were captured by Hamas during the assaults.

Mr. Hamad added: “The Al Aqsa Flood is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth because we have the determination, the resolve, and the capabilities to fight.”

Israel said it killed Hamas commander Ibrahim Biari, a key organiser of the October 7 massacre, on Tuesday.

Israeli officials say Hamas’ military infrastructure, including hundreds of miles of tunnels, is based in Gaza City.

Although immediate confirmation regarding potential casualties resulting from the second detonation was lacking, surveillance footage captured individuals sifting through debris and transporting injured individuals as smoke billowed above the camp.
