Commander Richard Smith, head of the Metropolitan Police’s counter-terrorism command, stated, “I want to be clear that despite making this arrest, and based on what we now know, this incident does not appear to be connected to any direct threat to the public.

However, investigators are continuing their investigation to confirm that this is indeed the case.

The suspect has been released on bond until April, according to a police statement.

Officers stated that they did not uncover any more harmful materials at the Cheshire residence. But the guy is accused of manufacturing or possessing radioactive material.

The uranium arrived in Oman on a flight that originated in Pakistan.

Uranium can be utilized for power generation and scientific research, and it is a vital component of nuclear weapons.

Certain isotopes generate radiation that is hazardous to humans, and the metal itself is poisonous if consumed or inhaled.
