Matt Hancock is “better at bushtucker trials than clinical trials,” according to the mayor of Greater Manchester.

Andy Burnham stated that he did not believe Hancock to be a “bad person,” but that his appearance on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! displayed “poor judgment”.

Burnham stated, “It’s obvious that he’s better at show business than he is at politics…more adept in Bushtucker trials than clinical studies.

He proceeded: “In my opinion, he is not a bad person, but he made a poor decision since politicians should be concerned with what is best for us.

“But this is all about me, isn’t it? It’s all about me, my situation, and a problem in the cost of living for his constituents.

“He should be here to answer for his actions, not in the jungle attempting to gain favor with other celebs and the British public.”

During the majority of the coronavirus crisis, during which the vaccine was produced and tested, Hancock served as secretary of health.

The West Suffolk representative survived elimination for the sixth time on Thursday, after radio DJ Chris Moyles was voted off the show.

“Matt Hancock I have huge difficulties with Matt, but I have fewer with him.”
