One Twitter user remarked, “Why are random people posting on celebrity pages in my feed?” While another user wrote, “Hey Facebook, are you okay, bro?”

Users throughout the world have experienced problems with their homepage when using the Facebook app.

On other social media platforms, such as Twitter, people are flocking to talk about “random” persons writing on the profiles of celebrities, highlighting the concerns.

The owner of Facebook, Meta, acknowledged the reports and stated it was “trying to restore normalcy.”

After 6 a.m., DownDetector, a website where users can report outages and problems with various platforms, began getting complaints about the error.

It got over 2,500 reports from Facebook users regarding the feed, with some calling it a “strange issue.”

“My Twitter feed is clogged with random people posting on celebrity pages?” asked one Twitter user.

Someone else wrote, “Hey @Facebook, are you okay?

According to reports, if someone posts to a celebrity’s profile, then everyone who follows that celebrity will see the post in their newsfeed.

Typically, such posts to popular pages are eliminated by an algorithm.

On the platform, irrelevant communications appear above posts from friends and connections.

A spokeswoman for Meta told, “We are aware that some Facebook users are experiencing difficulties.”

We are attempting to restore normalcy as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.

There have been reports of disruptions in the United Kingdom, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, the United States, Poland, and Australia.

People have attempted to take advantage of the error by promoting their interests or projects; examples include job requests, social media marketing, and advertisements for businesses.
