Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Princess of Wales will attend Wimbledon’s men’s final on Sunday.
Kate is poised to make her second public appearance since her cancer diagnosis was publicized earlier this year, following her attendance at Trooping the Colour last month.
Kensington Palace announced that the princess would attend the championship final on Sunday to present the men’s trophy to either Novak Djokovic or Carlos Alcaraz.
Kate has patronized the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016.
The princess stated in March that she has been undergoing prophylactic chemotherapy for an unidentified form of cancer since late February.
Ahead of her first public appearance since her diagnosis last month, she stated that she intended “to join a few public engagements over the summer,” but acknowledged that “I am not out of the woods yet.”
Kate stated, “I’m learning how to be patient, especially when faced with uncertainty.”
I take each day as it comes, listen to my body, and give myself time to recuperate.
While Kate remains in the UK, Kensington Palace has announced that Prince William will go to Berlin to cheer on England as they face Spain in the Euro 2024 final.

William and Kate congratulated Princess Anne on her return to royal responsibilities on Saturday.
On Friday, the Princess Royal attended the championships of the Riding for the Disabled Association, which was celebrating its 55th year.
It came after she suffered a minor head injury and concussion last month, which she believes was caused by a horse. She was discharged from the hospital on June 28.
The Prince and Princess of Wales praised Anne as a “super trooper” on social media, saying it’s “so great to see you back so soon”.
