Dublin Airport: Ryanair plane has trouble landing; emergency declared.

The Liverpool-bound Ryanair flight was greeted by the airport’s fire department, with passengers remaining on board until the fire officer gave the all-clear.

An emergency was declared after a plane’s landing gear encountered a “minor issue” while landing at Dublin Airport.

Ryanair stated in a statement that the plane’s nose landing gear encountered “a minor technical issue” upon landing.

Engineers will inspect the aircraft, said Ryanair.

No casualties were reported, but one passenger was treated for shock, according to a tweet from Dublin Airport.

“Dublin Airport Fire Service responded, and passengers disembarked normally after the Airport Fire Officer gave the all-clear.” The Dublin Airport Authority said in a statement.

During the incident, air traffic operations were restricted, and on Sunday evening, only the north runway was in use.
