Carlo Ancelotti confirmed Casemiro’s intention to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United after meeting with the Brazilian international.
“I have communicated with Casemiro. He desires a fresh challenge. We understand his decision,” the Madrid coach said at a Friday morning press conference.
After winning five Champions Leagues and three La Liga crowns, the 30-year-old defensive midfielder informed Ancelotti that he desires a fresh challenge. Ancelotti has made it clear that he will not play against Celta Vigo on Saturday despite continued negotiations between Madrid and United. “[As a] substitute, we have signed [Aurélien] Tchouaméni, who is one of the greatest players on the market. Then there’s Toni Kroos and Eduardo Camavinga,” he continued.
Ancelotti was taken aback by Casemiro’s decision to go, which would make him United’s fourth signing of the summer if the deal goes through. “I realized yesterday that it was a true phenomenon. “My plans will not be altered,” he stated.
