TikTok is without a doubt one of the most prominent social media apps worldwide, with over one billion active users.
If you use the video app, you may believe you have mastered its main features.
However, many users are oblivious to the 46 hidden emoji.
These hidden emoji are compatible with both the iOS and Android versions of the TikTok app, but you’ll need special credentials to access them.
Here is all the information you need regarding private characters, including what they are and how to access them.
TikTok supports native emoji on all platforms, which users can insert from their smartphone’s interface, similar to how emoji are used on other platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram.
However, many users are unaware that the iOS and Android versions of the app support 46 hidden emoji.
Emojipedia explained in a blog post about the hidden characters that the only method to insert a hidden TikTok emoji is by knowing the list of TikTok emoji codes.
To use the secret emoji, scroll down to the list of TikTok Emoji Codes at the end of this article.
Copy and paste any emoji shortcode into a TikTok comment or caption.
Emojipedia added, “Unlike native system emojis, which appear with designs from Apple, Google, or Microsoft (depending on the platform being used), TikTok’s hidden emoji list uses the same visual style across all operating systems and manufacturers.”
The announcement comes shortly after Emojipedia disclosed the 118 proposed new emoji for this year.
The new characters consist of a lime, vertically and horizontally swaying heads, and a phoenix bird.
