Kevin Spacey, who is best known for his roles in American Beauty, The Usual Suspects, and House Of Cards, participated in a hearing at Southwark Crown Court via video link as the details of his impending trial were determined.
A court confirmed that Kevin Spacey will face several sexual offence allegations in London at the end of June.
Kevin Spacey Fowler appeared at Southwark Crown Court for a pre-trial review Friday via video link from an undisclosed location.
Before this, he denied 12 counts of 2001–2013 crimes against four people.
During a 15-minute hearing in which he wore a grey suit and burgundy tie. In a grey suit and burgundy tie, the 63-year-old confirmed his name and that he could hear the proceedings.
The trial, which will last four weeks, was scheduled to commence on June 28.
In July 2022, Spacey appeared at the Old Bailey and denied five allegations involving three men, also four counts of sexual assault and one count of causing someone to engage in sexual activity without consent. The alleged violations allegedly transpired between 2005 and 2013.
In January 2023, he appeared before the Southwark Crown Court to enter a not-guilty plea to additional charges involving a different complainant. The alleged offenses occurred between 2001 and 2005 and include three counts of indecent assault. Three counts of sexual assault, and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without their consent.
Spacey, famed for American Beauty, The Usual Suspects, and House Of Cards, was released on parole without conditions.
