After sustaining an accident while snowplowing, Marvel star Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition in the hospital.

A representative for the actor informed Deadline that the 51-year-old was taken to the hospital on Sunday. Following an incident at his property near Reno, Nevada.

They said that Renner was “getting great treatment” after the “accident caused by the weather.”

As a result of blizzard conditions, dozens of individuals have been killed across the United States.

In addition to power outages, the winter storm forced the cancellation of thousands of flights.

Kristin Vietti, a local public information officer, informed The Hollywood Reporter that Renner was transported to a local hospital. And he was the only person involved in the collision.

She noted that the major accident investigation team of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

According to a statement provided to Reuters, the office “responded to a severe injury in the vicinity of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada at 09:00 on Sunday morning.”

Renner is most likely recognized for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He has also appeared in films such as The Hurt Locker, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for best actor. American Hustle, and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

Renner was also nominated for an Academy Award for best-supporting actor for his performance in The Town.

He is now starring in the Paramount+ series The Mayor of Kingstown. And his fictional spicy sauce recently made a cameo in Glass Onion: Knives Out Mystery.
