Fuel-poor individuals can receive complimentary plumbing and heating services from Depher CIC, managed by James Anderson. The donation, it said, will “give hope to thousands of people, families, and children” and was described as “wonderful and humbling.”
Hugh Grant and Anna Elisabet Eberstein, his spouse, have contributed £20,000 to a charity aiding the disabled and vulnerable.
Fuel-impaired individuals can receive complimentary plumbing and heating services from Depher CIC.
James Anderson, the proprietor of Depher and the “kindest plumber in Britain,” confirmed to ITV News that the couple has previously contributed to the charity.
He stated that the most recent contribution increases the couple’s total to £75,000 in donations.
The charity expressed gratitude to the Love Actually actor and his Swedish television producer spouse for the contribution by sharing a photo of the couple on social media, accompanied by the bank transfer statement that verified the donation amount.
The donation, it said, will “give hope to thousands of people, families, and children” and was described as “wonderful and humbling.”
The charity uploaded images of stacks of toys purchased with the celebrity’s donation a few hours later.

According to a GoFundMe page, since its inception in 2017, the organization has provided gas, electricity, food vouchers, remote emergency plumbing and heating services, and grocery deliveries from nearby supermarkets to over two million individuals.
To continue its mission, it has raised over £20,000 for its 2023 Depher Winter Warmer Campaign.
On Thursday, Grant and Eberstein were among the numerous celebrities in attendance at the Chanel Metiers d’Art exhibit in Manchester.
The 2018-married couple attended the after-party of the fashion show at Victoria Baths in Manchester, while Grant abstained from promoting his most recent film, Wonka.
