TMZ reported that the 97-year-old Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang actor lost control of his vehicle and struck a gate.

TMZ reported that Van Dyke, 97, had a bloody lip and a possible concussion but was not hospitalized.
The accident occurred just weeks after the actor’s starring role in The Masked Singer.
Despite his advanced age, Van Dyke wowed audiences with his energetic performances as “Gnome” on the popular reality show.
His most recent film roles include Jim Carrey’s comedy-drama Kidding and the sequel to Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins Returns.
Van Dyke was rescued from his Jaguar after it took fire on a highway ten years ago.
